welcome! frends is a small community dedicated to celebrities who are directly related to the korean entertainment industry. while we strive to have a more relaxed atmosphere, we can't achieve this without some of the standard rules in rp. most importantly, do not cross the ic/ooc line. any ic drama should be handled entirely ic and we will not tolerate any blurriness or ooc harassment. please be kind and respectful toward your fellow writers! if you're experiencing issues related to this you can contact the mods via comment or private message. we also know we cannot moderate your involvement with anonymous communities but we do not encourage it, nor do we allow it to be brought up ic.

applying it's very easy! all we're looking for is an ic journal plus 2 backdated posts for ic/ooc contact, and an ic wire name. additionally, for both incoming and current members, please avoid embed codes in your userinfo and keep your friends list clear of too many additional journals not in the community. main chat anyone who joins the community gains access to the main group chat and will be added by the mods once their request has been approved. the chat is not mandatory, you are able to leave at any time and stay up to date, as long as you are active outside of it. any mod run activities like ffas, activity checks, or general announcements related to the community will always be marked off on the calendar and/or posted on the friends page, while the button for adds and removals shows when it was last updated for ease. we also trust our members to make sure everyone feels included in any member run activities, whether in chat or out! activity we would love to see you being as active as you can in as many different ways as possible! but at least one activity is required every month and can be done so in the following ways: • a journal or subcomm post with a majority of the comments replied to. there is no word count or limit on what you can post! if you choose to disable comments (whether for a private post or narrative) then we'd like to see you commenting other updates. • commenting on at least 5 different updates and linking us to comment threads with more than 3 replies. another way to show activity is hosting a group event (via hyperbeam, beatsense, jackbox, etc) which is open to the entire community and providing us with a screencap of the invite/link, but we will not accept this more than twice in a row! if you're added on or after the 20th you will automatically be marked with a completed activity for that month. removals to avoid removal you need to complete your monthly activity and keep your friends list up to date! on the 1st of every month we remove anyone who has failed to update, link their update in the member's post, or not commented on any activity checks. throughout the month there will be regular removals for anyone with a friends list over a week out of date.
